MEET The facilitator

Greetings all and welcome! I am so happy you are here. Perinatal healthcare has been my life-long personal and professional passion since 1996. I volunteer for Postpartum Support International (PSI) as a local support coordinator for northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula and the PTSD specialty coordinator throughout the U.S. I obtained my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from Michigan State University. Go Green! Go White! I am Board Certified PMHNP and certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH) through PSI to further help people like you! The birth of my first son and as a Certified Nurse-Midwife watching women/families struggle with adverse childbirth outcomes and limited support, was inspiration for starting a perinatal support group. I am blessed with two handsome boys, a wonderful husband, and our 2-year-old, Nico, our very happy and funny Aussie. 

Together, let us create PMH awareness and support as it affects our mothers, dads, significant others, children, families, and communities. I could not think of a better, more impactful way to help than creating this support group for YOU! I am are looking forward to meeting you!
