Great Lakes Perinatal Wellness provides comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health and wellness services to help you celebrate the joys and navigate the challenges of family building, pregnancy, postpartum, and every stage of your parenting journey.
With our knowledgeable and compassionate support, you’ll be guided in working through your challenges, so that you can access greater joy and vitality, and develop a deeper sense of connection to yourself, your life, and your loved ones.
All of PSI groups are FREE and virtual.
The groups are 90 minutes (1.5 hours) in length. The first ~30 minutes is providing information, education, and establishing group guidelines. The next ~60 minutes is “talk time,” in which group members share and talk with each other. Group members must be present for the group guidelines before joining in the discussion or “talk time.”
To provide a safe space for clients, families, and professionals of color around perinatal mental health. Every person of color will be heard and supported around perinatal emotional wellness.

Support group for any woman currently pregnant through one year postpartum. It is an eight-week program with sessions held virtually on Wednesdays from 1-2:30pm. This is a closed support group that is facilitated by a licensed therapist. Cost: $69 per session out-of-pocket.

Rooted Beginnings Support Group meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 9:30-11am in the Thirlby Room in the upper level of the Traverse Area District Library on Woodmere in Traverse City.
